Unable to make a decision between different choices or possibilities
She’s torn between her lover and family.
Lina is torn between leaving or staying at the company.
Difficult to choose between two alternatives.
1. To physically attack someone or use physical violence against someone
2. To provide a person with all of the possible choices
It is difficult for someone (not) to do something.
To be difficult, troublesome, or unpleasant for someone; to be to someone's disadvantage.
The verb "be" should be conjugated according to its tense.
