Bend (one's) ear phrase
To talk to someone for a long time about your problem or what you want them to do, and such that makes them bored or irritated.
I’ve just had John bending my ear for half an hour about the shoes of a poor quality he bought.
When sitting with John, we avoid mentioning economic issues. Otherwise, he'll bend our ear about it.
The verb "bend" must be conjugated according to its tense.
This somewhat slangy twentieth-century cliché comes from an older one, "to bend one’s ear to someone," meaning to listen or pay attention to someone. This usage dates from the late sixteenth century and frequently appears in poetry.
