After a day of calling for clothing donation, they have collected corn in Egypt.
Fortunately, I found a lovely vintage table in a shop that has corn in Egypt.
An abundant amount of or an extremely large number of something.
The term comes from the Bible. It originates from the instructions given to Jacob's sons in Genesis 42:2: ‘Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence’.
This phrase is used to describe something very modern or updated or something that no longer looks like what it's used to.
It has been a long time since I left my high school, and now I have to admit that it's certainly not your father's high school anymore.
