Put (one's) hair up phrasal verb
To tie one's hair in a style such as a ponytail or a bun.
When I was a kid, my grandmother showed me how to put my hair up in a certain way.
She feels more confident when she puts her hair up.
The verb" put" should be conjugated according to its tense.

A humorous way of saying that what one has said is just what they acknowledge and may not be entirely accurate
