"Shitless" can be replaced by "witless" without changing the meaning.
Feel extremely scared or frightened
I was scared shitless when I watched that horror movie.
I was so scared shitless that I could not say anything.
Very fearful.
1. To be extremely cold
2. To make someone exceedingly scared
Very frightened, frightened to death, petrified.
To avoid or refuse doing something dangerous as one feels apprehensive about it.
The verb "be" should be conjugated according to its tense.
Do you see anything wrong?

2. An fact, claim, proposal, etc. that is very difficult to believe or accept
